Project Overview
Chrono Coach is built for high-performers who want to train, eat, sleep, and live in sync with their biology. My role was to design the mobile app from the ground up, creating a personalized experience that feels intelligent, motivating, and easy to use.
Project Goals
The focus was on delivering a functional, personalized, and science-based user experience:
Design a clean and intuitive UI that adapts to each user’s chronotype
Create daily schedules that balance structure with flexibility
Visualize complex health data in simple, motivating ways
Build habit-forming design without feeling pushy or overwhelming
The Challenges
Designing a personalized health app comes with unique UX challenges:
Translating circadian science into something actionable for everyday users
Avoiding information overload while still offering depth
Balancing educational content with real-time utility
Creating consistency across core features like schedules, metrics, and guidance
The Solutions
Every design decision was guided by user clarity, rhythm, and momentum:
Designed onboarding that identifies user chronotype and goals in under 2 minutes
Created dynamic daily timelines for sleep, sunlight, meals, exercise, and focus
Used color, spacing, and iconography to separate “must-do” from “nice-to-have”
Built reusable design components for schedule cards, alerts, coaching, and progress tracking
Outcome & Impact
The final app design delivered clarity, motivation, and personalization:
Daily plan feels tailored, not generic—users know exactly what to do and when
Clean UI builds trust and lowers the barrier to long-term use
Feedback from early testers highlighted the “day rhythm” view as most helpful
Sets a strong foundation for both health optimization and future coaching features
