Project Overview
Texas Car and Title needed a fresh, user-first website to reflect their decades of service and multiple loan options. I led the redesign—from UX and UI to layout, messaging, and mobile optimization—creating a clear, modern, and conversion-ready platform.
Project Goals
The aim was to help visitors quickly understand and access the loan services they offer:
Clearly present loan tiers (title, payday, installment) and amounts
Instill trust through clean design aligned with 30+ years of service and broad Texas coverage
Improve navigation for online applications, location lookup, and FAQs
Ensure mobile responsiveness for users seeking help on the go
The Challenges
Several key hurdles shaped the project:
Managing heavy, credit-sensitive content without undermining clarity
Balancing speed, trust, and simplicity under a financial-services tone
Creating a scalable site for many locations, without cluttering navigation
The Solutions
To address these, I focused on structure, design, and user flow:
Highlighted loan types and amounts upfront with simple icons and headlines
Built a modular layout with clearly labeled sections: How it works, Loan Types, Locations, FAQs, Apply Now
Optimized the site for quick load times and mobile UX—especially apply buttons and contact forms
Added trust signals like years in business (since 1994) and highlighted “109 locations statewide”
Cleaned up navigation to keep only essential links—Apply Now, Locations, FAQs, Contact—minimizing decision friction
Outcome & Impact
The redesign delivered clarity, credibility, and ease of use:
Users can now scan loan options and apply in under a minute
Improved brand presence that feels current and trustworthy
Enhanced mobile experience, especially for users in urgent need of cash
Created a flexible template for future regional location pages or new loan offerings
